Exporting to an iPod

To export a recording to your iPod drag the file onto the iPod button in the library or select the recording and click on the iPod button. Your iPod must be connected for the iPod button to be active.

To export a recording to an iPod:

Be sure the iPod is connected.
Select the recording to be exported.
Click on the iPod button, or drag and drop the recording onto the iPod button.
Dragging the recording onto the iPod button will open the iPod Shortcuts popup menu.
Navigate to the destination Playlist.

Click on Send and the recording will be exported to the chosen Playlist on your iPod.

The connections for this export can be saved as a Shortcut. Just click on the Add as Shortcut... button in the lower left. Name the Shortcut and it will appear in the iPod Shortcuts popup menu the next time a recording is dragged onto the iPod button.

Note: To open the iPod Shortcuts popup menu, the recording must be dragged onto the iPod button.
